Card back office

This software product is a full-featured card BackOffice integrated into the SrBank CBS, at the level of the main system objects.

The complex is designed to maintain card accounts, terminal equipment, issue plastic cards, perform service operations on plastic cards.

All operational accounting is kept at the level of primary data, i.e. with the opening of the entire pool of counterparties, analytical accounts, the execution of transactions/operations, the setting of tariff plans and the formation of operations on commissions. The ABS also maintains all major card products for loans and deposits. This approach solves all issues related to forming reports for the NBU, DGF, STI, as well as meeting requirements of the financial monitoring service.

To work with various processings, there is a set of connectors that work both in on-line mode, with implementation on our Integration Bus, and in a combined version with partial implementation of off-line exchange. At the moment, we are working with PUMB, UKRKART, TASLINK (Compass+), OpenWay card processings. Each of these processings has a corresponding protocol, with a complete replacement of the card back-office part, or with a parallel operation mode.

The main functionality of the system:

  • Maintenance of card agreements, auto-opening of accounts, issuance of plastic cards for individuals and corporate clients in the context of various products (personal cards, credit, deposit, salary, pension, etc.), setting limits, payment rules for cards. Automation of operations down to the simplest user actions to standardize, simplify and avoid errors. Sending information when changing balances on card accounts, details of counterparties, cards, PIN codes, limits, balance requests and other service information.
  • Accounting for terminal equipment and performing operations on it.
  • Processing of Settlement files and other service files for information exchange with processing, with automatic creation of transactions in the context of terminal equipment and card accounts.
  • Transferring commercial exchange rates of the bank to the PC, as well as their use during the formation of postings when processing Settlement files.
  • Maintenance of GSM-contracts (institution, change of conditions, closing) in the context of both accounts and cards.
  • Availability of all the features of the tariff subsystem used in the bank for setting up tariff plans, withdrawing commissions (automatically or at the user's choice) and accruing balances. Scheduled operations (by time, event).
  • Issue of instant and virtual cards.
  • Printing contracts, statements and other printed forms, specialized in the context of the card module, in accordance with the bank and NBU requirements.
  • Maintenance of salary and pension projects (as contracts and, accordingly, the possibility of performing payment and non-payment transactions on them, printing reports, etc.).
  • Processing payroll statements sent by clients via the "Client-Bank" system (on-line and by file method) with the possibility of full automation. E. g. checking statements for errors (and if they are found, sending messages and e-mails to bank executors and customers), developing a statement (crediting to specific card accounts), accruing and withdrawing commission from a client (from a transit or current account), returning unused funds. It is also possible to set up and automatically retract statements of various structures, customized for specific clients, from any workplace or network directory.
  • Available procesing of dbf-files, csv, text and any structured files, to automatically create counterparties, contracts, GSM-contracts, limits, issue cards in the context of salary projects; crediting salaries (pensions) to card accounts; creating and closing of overdraft agreements, etc. Setting up the structure of files for processing according to the requirements of the bank or client.
  • Working with merchant acquiring agreements (maintaining agreements, processing transactions, withdrawing commissions, generating statements, printing forms for clients).
  • In the logistics module it is possible to account for plastic cards, PIN-envelopes, transfer them to a sub-report, between departments. Accounting can be performed in batches and singly. To automate the input and processing of cards, you can use a card reader.
  • Based on the card system data, NBU statistical reporting files are generated (for example, files #97, #A0).
  • Using the standard features of the system (processings, transaction templates, settings for the status of documents, contracts, etc.), the bank can additionally customize transactions, checks and other actions.
