We upgraded this mechanism with a convenient system for setting up and managing the execution of tasks. Using the industrial Oracle database engine, we achieve the most efficient use of all computing resources of the system and scaling with no need to modify the program code. This makes it possible to process very large amounts of data and perform a large number of operations in the minimum time and with the minimum possible technical resources.
There is a single end-to-end calendar of routine procedures maintained for the entire system, a log of sessions and the sequence of their execution, as well as a protocol of errors and messages.
Cascade serial and parallel execution, as well as multi-threaded and cyclic execution of scheduled tasks is implemented; the sequence setting for mutually dependent and mutually exclusive tasks is used.
The system of routine tasks is not only used not for opening and closing business day, but also for providing the current regulations of the bank's operating cycle.
The system is also used for sending information messages, scheduled information exchange with external systems through integration services.
