The use of the SrFTP technological platform common with the SRbank CBS in the SrFinance system allows you to use a large list of functional modules implemented for banks quickly and with minimal adaptation to the specifics of accounting and financial products of financial and insurance companies.

Unlike banks, financial companies are offered not one, but two ways to provide services for using the system:

  • The classic option for purchasing and supplying the system with its installation on the customer’s hardware and further support, similar to those for banks.
  • Providing remote access in the service mode on a leasehold basis to a system instance installed on a “cloud” technology platform administered and maintained by Soft Review.

The first option is the most flexible in the use of SrFinance, it allows you to independently refine the functionality, configure products, integrate with external systems and create analytical reports and applications. But this option requires purchase, installation or rental of server platform hardware in a commercial data center, as well as the organization of system administration at all levels - from hardware and database system software to user administration and installation of updates provided by the developer.

In this case, the cost of Soft Review's support includes:

  • providing the customer with update packages to the system, notably in accordance with changes in legal requirements and the requirements of financial service market regulators.
  • correcting errors and advising the customer's IT staff in case of emergency situations.
  • training technologists and administrators of the customer to use the system.

The second option is the most attractive one for using the SrFinance system for a financial company with a small staff or in the absence of corporate traditions for implementing its own IT projects and operating IT systems independently. In this case, it is not required to maintain your own staff of IT specialists, buy and maintain uninterrupted operation of technical means and licensed system software of the server platform. It is enough to provide your users with remote access to the service via the Internet with the creation of an encrypted communication channel using VPN tools, or access using WEB tools, protected by the https protocol. And also, at the request of the customer, to ensure regular receipt and storage of archival copies of the customer's application data from the system database.

In this case, the cost of Soft Review's support includes:

  • provision of hardware and system software necessary for the functioning of the server part of the system
  • ensuring the smooth functioning of the server platform and the system as a whole
  • administration of application server database, including creating and maintenance of backup and emergency recovery systems
  • updating system versions, including changes in the requirements of legislation and requirements of market regulators
  • user registration and setting up the role model of their rights
  • troubleshooting

In both cases, system modifications are carried out under separate contracts according to individual customer requirements and are not included in the support cost.

Soft Review specialists can also remotely administer the system installed on the customer's equipment according to the first option under a separate agreement.

Soft Review offers both options in agreement with the customer, recommending the best option out of the two described above in each specific case; it is also possible, by agreement of the parties, to perform a transition between the two options to either side.

For both options, information exchange in the system support process is provided by the Service Desk “Redmine” technical system, where the authorized customer representatives record all incidents, requests for improvements.
